Logistics Details - When Classes are Held
Class times
Each class is 2.5 hours in length.
The classes are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
You can choose the time slot that serves you best:
2 PM – 4:30 PM ET or
8 PM – 10:30 PM ET
With of our amazing telephone bridge system you can call in from a cell phone or dial in via skype.
So if you need to run out of your office, or drive your children to soccer practice and jump into class from your cell phone in the car, you can do it. (as long as you are using a headset while driving! ;-)
We offer 3 full semesters each year.
The program is designed so that you can complete the education part in 3 semesters by taking 2 classes per week.
TOTAL Flexibility: You can, of course, take only one class per week and complete the curriculum in what ever time frame suits you best.
The three semesters take place:
from January -> March || from April -> June || from late September -> early December
For example the exact dates of the upcoming semesters are as follows:

2011
Tuesday January 11 -> March 29; Wednesday January 12 -> March 30
Tuesday April 12 -> June 28; Wednesday April 13 -> June 29
Tuesday September 27 -> December 13; Wednesday September 28 -> December 14
Summer Session
We often offer a program or two in the summer from July -> August when we have demand for a certain program or a rush of new students in late spring. We will alert you about these summer session opportunities via e-mail.
We have four types of classes in our core curriculum
Methods classes, Skills classes, Business Academy classes, Coaching Practicum
They are organized as follows:
Tuesday- 12 Week Methods classes:
Level 1: Play Two Win,
Level 2: Super Conductivity,
Level 3: Personal Environments
Wednesday – 6 Week Skills classes:
Level 1: Basic coaching skills & Ethics,
Level 2: Proficiency coaching,
Level 3: Advanced Communication skills
Followed by 6 week Business Academy classes:
Level 1: Step up and stand out,
Level 2: Getting to yes,
Level 3: Be KNOWN as the coach
The Coaching Practicum
Each is 5 hours in length - you coach a colleague and receive a score and written feedback from a certified instructor. You are also coached one session and observe 3 sessions.
They are conducted on Fridays and Saturdays.
Typically from 12 PM ET - 5 PM ET
In a typical month we will offer 1 Friday Practicum and 1 Saturday Practicum.
For example the September 2010 Practicum Schedule:
Saturday September 11, 12 PM ET - 5 PM ET
Friday September 24, 12 PM ET - 5 PM ET
You must complete 6 Practicum in order to graduate.
You can do your six whenever you like.
We recommend that you do 1 practicum each semester while you are taking classes. And then do 3 practicum after you complete the curriculum and prepare for certification.
We post the complete practicum schedule months in advance so you can look at the calendar and choose which dates will work best for you.
You will need to be available for the full 5 hours and it is best to be well rested because it is VERY intense. Do NOT worry about being bored during the 5 hour practicum, it is often a life-changing experience.
A few notes:
The Methods and Skills classes and Practicum are required for graduation and certification.
The Business Academy classes are optional. We recommend that you do them while you are in the flow of the coach training, but some students choose to do them after they complete the coach training. It really depends on how quickly you want or need to start earning income from coaching services.
